Okay now I know the World Trade Center thing is all over the place but my heart dropped when I watched this episode. Season 8 Episode 17, the English Patient. It's the one where Elaine hates the movie the English Patient and she ends up having to go to a foreign country. Anyways, at the very end on the plane they show a guy getting up and meets 2 others at the front of the plane. They then proceed to explain how and why they are hijacking the plane.
I know its just a weird reference but man, this just illustrated what a hijacking really is and to be honest, caught me off guard. Luckily I have the episode in good quality as I don't expect to see it on the air in the future and I'm suprised its not already pulled! Lets keep our mouths shut! :)
Reading phraze like this I dont know should I cry or scream... What the hell is going on with Americans?!! Since when they become such neurotic nation with so weak minds and hearts that they cant handle to see planes blow up ("24"-pilot), high-rise buildings blowed up (latest Schwarzenegger movie) and bunch of other things since that horrible attack happened? I mean no disrespect to all these innocent people who died on Sept.11th, but I think it goes too far with all that hoopla surrounding non-related to this event tv shows, movies, etc. For instance: how about few million innocent Jews killed in concentration camps WWII? Was their death less mourn-worthy than those who died at WTC attack? I guess not, then why are we still seeing movies about these horrible events with every damn graphic picture possible (camp in "Band of Brothers" one of last episodes) but we can't see damn plane blow up in "24"? When Kramer burns puertorican flag networks immediately pull it off the air, but very own american flag mutilated in dozens of other series or movies doesn't bug the same networks at all? Its a paranoia, and all small things like this only contribute to fast deterioration of freedom in America. You accept full-blown official self-censorship now, next thing you'll have government office of "Media Control & Propaganda" in a 1984-esque way :( and in this twisted way damn terrorists already won this battle in my opinion, because after all its only freedom what is left from all the things that America used to have better or more than all other countries.
Hey relax there buddy. I never said I was scared or didn't want to see it or thought it should be pulled off the air, I was simply pointing it out to this _Seinfeld_ related newsgroup. There was no other purpose besides a simple post to point it out. I was just suprised to see that and then relate it to the WTC. I totally agree with you on several points and I want to make it clear that I was not "being neurotic".
And the last line, "Lets keep our mouths shut" was a off-hand remark. Hell, one episode was already pulled just because of the recent events, so it would not to be out of the picture to have more episodes pulled OF any show. Just grab soda and watch some Seinfeld.

You took it wrong way - I wrote it in general; there was another politically correct crap on CNN about WTC and in a same time I was reading your post and I had enough... but it wasn't directed to you at all. - All episodes with Newman at work or in uniform (possible USPS complaints about showing USPS hardworking employees in wrong way) - that'll be alot of episodes - Episode with Kramer on Times Square as a 'Marlboro Man' - obvious anti-smoking campaign reasons - The Bris (possible Jewish folks complaints?) - Episode with pigman in a hospital - possible complaints from any real Pigman ;)
I am sure we could find reasons to pull off syndication *every* single episode of the show... anyone wanna play this game?
You of course left out "afew" episodes that insulted Canada - those "Canadian Quarter" remarks and the denegration of CFL football - too much to endure!
Although Jerry and his neghbours are a colourful group, my favourite insults revolve around A LOT of other things! :-) :-) :-)
