There was a thread recently about the rumour that they are offering Seinfeld $500K/episode to come back for the next season.
I counted the number of commercials (approx) in the show and it was about 15, in three pods. At the published rate of $360K per 30 second spot, that works out to be about $5 Million advertising revenue a show.
Although a lot of that revenue is paid back to the NBC affiliates, that still leaves a lot of cash in the budget to pay Seinfeld and Kramer (can't remember his real name) who apparently gets $100K per show.
Anybody with any info that confirms or denys this, feel free to put your $.02 in.
