Just why we were watching "Suddenly Susan" is beyond me (though truthfully, we were just glancing at it from time to time -- just to see if it would get any funnier), but one of our group noticed that the grandmother of Suddenly Susan looked just like George's poor dead fiance, Susan.
The actress portraying SS's g'mother was also the wife of Barney Miller (as well as other numerous characters). The facial characteristics were almost exact as was the voice.
Anyone else notice this? And does anyone know if they are related?
