Arsenic and Old Lace again

Was at the opening preview night yesterday. Unfortunately Michael Richard's character doesn't make it until the 2nd act but there was plenty to keep us going until then. Didn't know anything about this play but knew a few of the other actors who all did good jobs. Richards was excellent although unrecognisable due to heavy make up. Very good though and the most Kramer like of his actions seemed to get the best laughs. Heard many people mentioning Seinfeld and Kramer before the show and during the interval. Well worth a viewing if you are in London.

I am a bit late on the post, but I was also at the opening preview night performance of Arsenic and Old Lace. Met Michael Ricahrd's after the show, was a small crowd waiting for him.

Definately see it, He does a kramer esque babble talk, but when he is hit on the head he forgoes his brilliant Kramer skills of falling down, and sticks his tongue out comically.

Doesn't look a day older than when he was on Seinfeld tho...!

On the other hand, a mate of mine who was in London for the maid in manhattan premier photographed one sexy jennifer lopez right up close in that dress, and her rear to boot, but I think meeting cosmo was better ;-)

He wouldnt sign 'These pretzels are making me thirsty" though, as he said

"No, we are over that now"

Jerry said something similar when I saw his standup show last summer (2nd row!). A heckler cried out "That's GOLD, Jerry, GOLD!" and he shot the heckler down with a similar line.

What an original heckle ;) to be honest, that would have had me in stitches.

Only saw the pics from london today, the two with Kramer in came out really well, he is a photogenic guy after all.. ;-)
