Who is Crazy Joe Devola!?!

I'm terribly sorry and ashamed to say that I'm not entirely familiar with this character. :-( All I know about him is that he met Elaine in front of her psychiaratrist's office and went out with him until she found out that he was wak-o with all those pictures of her in his room. I also know that he pretended to be a mime and confronted? Jerry at a movie?

-But WHY is he out to get Jerry and George?

-What happened that made him stalk our heros? Was that scene with

-Elaine the first time Devola is introduced?

-How many other occasions has either Jerry or George encountered Devola?...and what were the circumstances/consequences of each encounter?

-What background info do we have on Devola?

All I know is that Jerry mentioned to Crazy Joe DeVola at NBC that Kramer was having a party, assuming that he was invited. Crazy Joe went after Kramer, kicking him in the head. Luckily, Kramer was wearing Newman's helmet at the time, which got dented heavily, but saving his life. Kramer met Jerry at the coffee shop, and told him that Crazy Joe was after him next.
