What are these "Notes about nothing"?
I do not notice any difference when I switch them on or off!

Viewers discuss the "Notes about Nothing" feature, with disagreement over its usefulness and timing during episodes.

You need to turn them on and then go watch an episode. After a minute or so you'll see text at the top or bottom of the screen.

While they have some useful information, I find them annoying. They come on at the most inappropriate times (mis-cued), then go on and on about (in one example) Finland, and then tries to catch up with the episode again by going by quickly, and skipping over other fcats I'd like to know. They should have done a plain Pop-up video style Notes about Nothing, with quick, fun facts, and a large popup at the end of the episode with airing times, etc.
I would have liked a pop-up point out Norman Brenner thing....
But hey, we waited for 10 years for these things, s'pose we can't complain...

The DVD-player I think is good enough, it is a Plextor. But I have my doubts on the software, Power-DVD, bundled with the player.
I really dislike subtitles when I can do without them. But just for fun I switched them on once when watching Pulp Fiction. Since then I can not get rid of them for that particular film. I can change between languages and I can do what looks as if I am switching them off altogether, but they don't go away.
This has persisted through reinstall of W2K, total removal and reinstall of Power-DVD, registry cleaning etc.
So I dare not try anything like that with Seinfeld.
