'Seinfeld' blasted by TV Guide

Seinfeld got two mentions, no wait, 3...okay, 4 mentions in TV Guide's "the year in jeers" issue which is available now :

In a feature called "Channel of the Damned" among a group of failed and horrible TV programs..."Costello", "Howard Stern Radio Show"(the network disaster, not the E! show), "Encore! Encore!", "The Magic Hour"...and yes, "The Final Seinfeld". Definately the shortest but most effective piece of criticism on the episode I've read yet...

also, two pokes at Mr. Seinfeld's personal life *yawn* with a joke about Jerry's "obsession" with younger women, and a page-full spoof advertising a new sitcom where he steals a new guy's wife in every episode.

And the last was in the letter section : A reader blasted TV guide for becoming a tabloid and exploiting Seinfeld's personal life, while another one boo'd Jerry for his dating decisions. lalala.

Sounds like newsgroup criticism. "It was horrible... but I won't say why."

I just don't get any of it.  Lately all the same magazines that kissed
Jerry's ass just 8 months ago are now slamming the crap out of him.
