Those are certainly my sentiments. I'm really mystified by all the complaining about the finale. Personally, I thought it was very cleverly written . . . and funny! And I'm not saying this because I'm some highly biased "Seinfeld" fanatic. The fact is, I've never actually been a huge fan of the show. Nevertheless, I still think the ending was terrific, and I applaud Larry David, Jerry, and all the rest for a fantastic closure to the series.

I think it would have been better if the NBC executives had visited them in jail and said, "wow, all of those people on the stand. . . you must have nine years' worth of material there." But the network lawyer accompanying them (and why didn't the network send a competent lawyer to defend them?) points out that, as a criminal cannot profit from his crime, Jerry and George won't see a penny when the show goes on the air.
