Fans discuss the reference in The Stranded episode where Elaine quotes a dingo eating babies, with someone explaining it references the movie A Cry in the Dark and the real Lindy Chamberlain case.

I've always laughed during the scene where Elaine tells that lady "Maybe the dingo ate your babies...etc." But I've never acutally known what the hell Elaine was talking about...can anyone explain?

The was a movie called " A Cry in the Dark " with Meryl Streep (that phony baloney) who used an Australian accent. It was based on the book " Evil Angels " and the real life trial of Australian Lindy Chamberlain who was convicted of killing her child, yet she claimed wild dingos (dogs) ate the baby. The evidence has since pointed that way.
