has anyone else noticed that in the past year or two George's character seems to have gotten 'angrier' ?
He's always raised his voice and it is hysterical about how he gets so frustrated, but the character seems to be always angry for some reason and I'm not finding it very funny anymore .

I agree. George's "loudness" was really funny a couple of years ago but now it's just obnoxious.
Who knows, maybe though Susan is dead, "world are colliding" again! :)
Apparently Jason Alexander in a recent interview with Charlie Rose mentioned that his "George" character changed when Larry David departed. The remaining younger writers may have been unable to capture the George nuances and resorted to his worst characteristics, whining and screaming, these past 2 years. alt showbiz gossip

And there wasn't as much sparking dialouge comming from George after Larry Davids left. Think back to the "Impending Intestional Requirement" speech made by George made in the "Chineese Resturant" episode or to all the rules of dating or breaking up George has spewed forth during the early years of the show.
