Opinion...

It is my opinion that the show was custom-made for people who HATE "Seinfeld". Much of the criticism has revolved around the fact that the characters are shallow, self-absorbed bastards. They knew that the final episode would draw in a larger episode--even those who hate the show. They wanted to give them an incentive, a payoff for watching the show. I loved it, for one.
