Did anyone else see the Seinfeld bit on Dateline on Tuesday night? They mentioned that the show receives dozens of unsolicited scripts weekly, and if you sent one in don't get your hopes up because they don't even look at them. So, that's probably the answer to the question that was going around when people were posting their own scripts. They'll never be made into actual shows. That's unfortunate because some of the ones we've seen (The Centerfold) have been very funny.

Unsolicited scripts are never used by any show, studio et. al because of fear of legal problems.
There was once a situation where they used viewer scripts. In the 1960's Star Trek had a contest where you could have ascript of yours aired. To prevent them from getting too many scripts there was a $70 entry fee.

StarTrek TNG uses unsolicited scripts once in a while.
