the real reason that jerry's car stunk is that it wasn't his car. he normally drives a bmw 3 series, but that car was a 5-series.
it could be just a producers gaff, but then again, if they can change actors to play jerry's father, they can certainly change his car.

Correct. In the "Parking" episode it was 325i. In "BO" it was clearly a larger 525i model. It's called an upgrade.
The real Jerry Seinfeld owns 4 Porsches in real life. Hey,who knew?!

I also noticed this, but in all previous episodes except for the "Parking" episoed, Jerry's car has always been a 525i (nose-picking episode, and when they go visit the Bubble-Boy, etc.). I'm almost positive of this. Anyone else remember?
I've always thought it was a 5-series, because of the size and the fact that the old 3-series design wasn't eliminated until last year (in the US). I didn't think it was as old as '90, though.
