Well, I guess he did get paid ALOT for the gig, if he was buying a cadillac. How much do Caddies run anyway?

I know that a comic with Tonight Show appearances makes anywhere from 3-8 for a gig, not alot more (thousands that is)

When I was in college at Duke last year, I knew a guy who was on the "Major Speaker's Committee." He was basically in charge of getting big name people to come to the university to give a talk/speech/whatever. Well, they took a poll among the student population and Jerry Seinfeld was a top vote-getter. This guy told me that getting Jerry was out of the question since Jerry commands around $100,000 per college comedy appearance. Don't know if this is true, but I heard it from someone who might actually know.

So we got Carrot Top instead (who was really funny).
