Howz about everyone posts what their favorite episode was? just curious as to see which is the most popular.....................O'BRIEN and MURPHY haha

My favorite episode, at least this week's favorite, is "The Heart Attack".

I keep goofing on Tor, the holistic healer, and his 'anti-medical establishment' rhetoric combined with Jerry's under the breath smartass responses.

I'm a little partial to the Superbowl episode where Kramer and Newman are playing risk on the subway and the Ukrainian guy smashes the board.

"The Switch"

The roommate switch plan, including "manage-a-trois," the revelation of Kramer's first name, and George dating the model whom he suspects may be "refunding." Notice George eating Jerry's peanut butter right out of the jar with his disgusting index finger, saying "This is what I do." Jerry didn't seem to mind this time, though.

Mine was the one where Kramer gets involved in some crazy scheme, George tries to cheat someone or something, Elaine moans about men, and Jerry just shakes his head in disgust at the behavior of his friends.

I know it's the typical response, but I have to say "The Contest"

I've given it a lot of thought and there are about twenty-five episodes that are perfect and deserving of number one status, but if I had to pick one favourite it would be "The Jacket" because it is so delightful and unexpected in every way, what you might call a little underrated gem, and remarkably so, being a very early episode. My vote goes to "The Conversion" George converts to Latvian orthodoxy so his girlfriend won't break up with him only to discover after he converts that she's going to Latvia for a year. The scenes of him meeting with the priest and studying for the exam are classic George. He finally makes a significant commitment (for "George" reasons of course) and it gets him no where. In the meantime a soon-to-be-nun from the Church wants to leave the church and run away with Kramer. Jerry is worried Tawni has a fungus when he finds a fungicide at her place and gets Elaine to ask her Podiatrist boyfriend about it (and he thinks SHE has a fungus). The two story lines tie each of their respective characters together in amusing exploit. I think this is a well-written episode with good humor that is not oft discussed. It really brings the characters to life. Jerry and his cleanliness are paranoid of the fungus. George has to do something kinda out there to try and keep his woman. Kramer is always making the women crazy in his own weird way. And Elaine is having problems with a man because of some confusion resulting from other characters. Great Ep!

Two that come to mind immediately are:

"The Chinese Woman" -- Estelle has some of her funniest lines in the series, including "I was duped! I thought I was getting advice from a Chinese woman! I'm not taking advice from some girl from Long Island!" Also, Jerry's reaction after Donna says "riducurous" is pure, classic comedy.....

"The Boyfriend" has Elaine saying "Jerry, he's a guy!" and of course the JFK parody, Newman coming in saying "Keith Hernandez?! I despise him!" and many funny bits throughout.....

There's no contest.

It's "The Contest." There are certainly plenty of candidates for runner-up, from "The Opposite" to "The Betrayal" to "The Chinese Restaurant"...and that hardly scratches the surface when you're talking about a 180-episode run that had hardly a bad one in the whole bunch. But "The Contest" might have been the single funniest half-hour in American TV history.
