Jerry's Girlfriend Ellen in 2/7 Episode the NYU Reporter in "The Outing" (?)

All through last night's episode, I kept thinking that I had seen the actress who played Jerry's girlfriend Ellen before. In the credits, she was identified as Christine Taylor. Am I wrong, or is she the same actress who played the NYU reporter who "outed" George and Jerry? I believe that she is. In light of the recent "Jerry's Hottest Girlfriend" thread, I thought that this should be noted and "outed."

In fact, I think the reporter's name was "Ellen" also. Was she supposed to be the same character? If so, why didn't George recognize her? After all, he offered to prove he was heterosexual by having sex with her, "right here, right now, baby!" :-)

Sorry, but the girl who "outed" Jerry+George was definately not Ellen from the 2/6 episode. Although they are both quite good looking. By the way, Christine Taylor was in the recent Brady Bunch movie, and also starred in a sitcom that was quickly cancelled, I forgot the name. --OJs a liar

Christine Taylor is/was on a show called "Hey Dude" on Nick. She is pretty hot.

Paula Marshall played Sharon, the reporter from NYU. She was on the short-lived Fox sitcom "Wild Oats", is currently on the NBC sitcom "Chicago Sons".

Christine Taylor played Ellen, the Sorbonne graduate. She was in at least one of the Brady Bunch movies as Marcia, and was also in the short-lived Fox sitcom "Party Girl".

So other than the short-lived Fox sitcom connection (and both being girlfriends of Jerry), they are different.

Christine Taylor is not the same girl as NYU reporter. taylor played marcia Brady.

Christine Taylor played Marcia Brady in the Brady movies. that's probably where you recognize her from. she also recently had a *very* short-lived sitcom on Fox called "party girl."

if i'm not mistaken, wasn't the reporter a brunette? i'm pretty sure Christine Taylor wasn't her.

I thought the actress who played the reporter is in that new show about three brothers, Chicago Brothers or something like, I saw about 1/2 of one episode and that was enough for me so I can't say for sure. e
