I just saw "The Opposite" episode (where Elaine becomes George and he gets a job at the NY Yankees...), anyway the guy from "3rd Rock from the sun", Paul Gleason, is the Cushman at the cinema who tells Elaine that her boyfriend, Jake Jarmelle, won't show up because he had an accident and he's in the Hospital.
...Elaine runs to....get some popcorn and JooJee fruits and then go to visit Jake...
