I heard the real Kramer, Kenny Kramer, will be on Judge Judy in the near future. Don't know what the issue is--but it should be interesting. alt showbiz gossip

He already was a few weeks ago. She really ripped into him too, that high and mighty bitch. I thought I hated Wapner, until this "woman" came along. She is just plain mean. I remember her yelling at Kenny, "who the hell were you before Jerry Seinfeld made you a somebody". She has some problems.

It sounds like Judge Judy needs either an attitude or a Premarin dosage adjustment. Nevertheless, I could just see an episode of Seinfeld with Cosmo Kramer as the defendant, Jackie Childs as his lawyer, and the demure Judge Judy as herself. Alas--too little time. alt showbiz gossip

It isn't Jerry, but Kenny Kramer (the guy who inspired the Cosmo Kramer character, and a real life friend of Jerry and of Larry David) who was taped at the end of last month for a Judge Judy show.

He told me about it in a recent on-air conversa- tion. He got sued by a volunteer worker on his abortive 1997 campaign for Mayor of NYC who thought he should have gotten paid...and they all agreed to accept a trip to LA on the Judge Judy show producer's dime to settle the case on TV. Kenny says the show will air in most cities on May 14, literally the day of the Seinfeld finale. He won't say how the case was resolved, but he would say it didn't cost him anything out of pocket, he got a freebie mini-vacation in Los Angeles, and he came away enjoying the experience and liking Judge Judy.

Hey, if someone wanted to sue you on TV, and you knew you'd get a free trip West and the producer would pay all your costs and guarantee you wouldn't lose a dime out of pocket even if you lost the case, wouldn't you go too?

Czar--what he does for a living helps give his posts more veracity, which is great for people in these news groups who are mostly fans, and have little or no contact with the celebs. . And he is proud of what he does and doesn't have to hide behind a moniker of a dictator!

Thanks, RGINA. Couldn't have said it better. A guy like Bob, who posts informative, sometimes humorous, but usually entertaining stuff on a regular basis deserves better treatment.

And the screen name says it all. He says Bob is self-important because he works at an AM station, but "Czar", well, how self- important does a person have to be to choose that name?
