Sorry to inform you, but, your source is incorrect.Episode # 1 aired on 7/5/89, it was called "The Seinfeld Chronicles".Episode #2 "The Stakeout" debut was on 5/31/90.Maybe that's the mistake?

Your TV Encyclopedia is incorrect. The pilot show entitled "The Seinfeld Chronicles" aired 7/5/89. In the pilot there was no Elaine, Jerry's apartment was different and they hungout at Pete's Luncheonette, not Monk's. Episode 2 on 5/31/90 had Elaine and the apartment.
