Jerry Stiller thanked his wife, Anne Meara, and his kids when he won an award at the recently televised 12th Annual American Comedy Awards. I used to enjoy watching Stiller & Meara on the Mike Douglas Show when I was a youngin' (some 35 years ago)!

But George said he was gay on "The Outing." When the NYU student thought they were gay, they were denying it and at the same time defending it by saying "not that there is anything wrong with it." Jerry said, "I have many gay friends." George said, "My father's gay."

There's your proof.

You see, that is called a "joke". Something that comedians use to make people laugh.

George says it because he's uncomfortable, and doesn't want to appear anti-gay to writer.
