Last episode.

Hi, In the last episode, Steinbrenner comes walking into George's office, and mumbles something about not getting this song out of his head. and procedes to sing a Pat Benetar song. He should have sung the one from Les Miserables, the one George couldn't get out of his head a long, long time ago. cya Gordo

Good call, I remember that, but the heartbreaker, dream maker, Brubaker line was hysterical!!!

Okay Seinfeld fans & Michael, I've got an issue to discuss. How do you think they should end the show? What will happen to all of the characters? Marge

An excellent question...to be honest, I personally can't think of a good way to end it. My guess is that the finale won't be that different from the rest of the episodes...they won't go off the beaten path with the characters or plots in order to make their last season one to remember. I imagine there won't be a huge difference in the characters or the plots...the writers' creative juices are already running full steam.

I remember reading somewhere (maybe Entertainment Weekly) about Julia Luise Dryfuss's idea for the last episode:

Elayne and Jerry find true romance with each other and get married, Kramer joins a convent and becomes a priest or something like that. George and Kramer are driving Elayne and Jerry to the airport to leave for the honeymoon, when they get in a car wreck and all die. It sounds neat.

The truly fitting ending would be the post-script to the above, where all of the main characters go to hell.

My fantasy for the Last show would bring Law & Order and Seinfeld together - an hour long episode.

A whole episode can be made with ex- L&O characters. Bring Logan and Greivey (sp) back as cops that charge George with killing Susan. Ben Stone talks about his *wanton disregard for her life* - Jerry comes to his aid and is charged with assault on the *Marble Rye* lady, stealing books from the library, peeing in public ... etc... A whole cast of cast-off Law & Order characters getting these guys for past crimes -

Kramer- fill in the blanks... , Neuman - federal crimes for undelivered mail - selling federal property (son of sam's mail bag) Elaine - missapropriating corporate funds - planning Mr. Pitt's death, etc...

I can just hear the L&O music as they step in Jerry's apartment taken to the interrigation room, Jerry Stiller can reprise his (awful) role as the inept lawyer which he played in L&O.

They'll be back. I have no doubt in my mind that they will return for a 9th and final season in the fall. Jerry is pushing it, the NBC execs are pushing it, and the rest of the cast is pushing it. They have four weeks...do not despair.
