Does anyone know the original length (time) of the clip show that was run before the finale? Was it half an hour or an hour?

I seem to recall that it ran 45 minutes including commercials, with the Finale therefore starting at an odd time. But I may have misremembered; can anyone confirm this?

So that would make the actual running time of the episode (minus commercials) how long? 35 minutes? And was this cut down to a 30 minute tiem slot for syndication?
