Alright, I'll admit that I haven't kept up w/ this newsgroup for a while, but I seem to recall a show that would easily clear up what seems to be an ongoing "argument" at alt.tv.seinfeld. Remember the show (from a couple seasons ago, I think) involving Elaine and (I think) Jerry's Rabbi? I don't remember the exact plot (it was quite a while ago), but it involved Elaine telling the Rabbi some of her inner-most secrets and the guy blabbed it all over the place (I think even on TV). It involved something about George and Susan saw it on TV, if that helps jog anyone's memory. Well, anyhow, when Elaine saw the Rabbi on TV, she complained to Jerry telling him that she thought talking to a religious clergyman was private. She continued by clearly stating that she wasn't of the Jewish faith and didn't realize that the Rabbi wasn't bound to silence. So, it's rather obvious that Elaine is not Jewish. My memory on the details of this show is somewhat lacking, so if someone else out there can remember this show better, feel free to add the details.

I think that maybe just because you're not of the Jewish faith, it doesn't exclude you from the Jewish culture.
