Best Newman Moment

I don't really like him, but his best hour had to be dropping a coin and stealing the cart full o' cans from the bum who went for it.

I also really liked his scene with Kramer when they went down to Joe's record place, and tried to sell all those old LP's for money but only got offered $10. :)

Kramer (under his breath): This guy's nothing but a piece of crap. Newman (loudly to Joe): You are nothing but a piece of crap!

Joe (takes glasses off): Oh yeah?

Kramer (whispers to Newman with conspirational look): I find you extremely ugly. Newman: I FIND YOU EXTREMELY UGLY!

Joe (getting irritated): Is that right?

Kramer (under breath): You emit - a foul and unpleasant odor Newman (getting nervous at Joe's angry demeanor but following along): YOU EMIT a FOUL and UNPLEASANT ODOR!

Joe: Get the hell of out my store!

Kramer: Make us... NEWMAN: MAM-MA-MAKE US! MA-MAKE US.. Joe (jumps over counter and attacks Newman): I'll make you!!! I'll make you!

I really liked him in the dog napping. Remember he is the mystery man that Kramer knows that can take care of Elanes barking dog problem. I love it when she finally agrees and he says EXCELLENT!

Certainly you must include the episode in which Newman plays the judge who must decide whether Kramer or Elaine gets to keep the bike.

IMHO... his one of his best moments...was...

when he got his soup from the Soup Nazi......

How about the episode where Elaine hires Newman to "get rid of" the dog that's always barking! Now that was funny.

For me, Newman's greatest moment was when Jerry knocked on his door because he had to have the story about the woman Newman had dated. Newman opens the door (knowing why Jerry's there, it would seem??) and says something like "Jerry, what brings you down to the east wing?" That whole sequence was great.

Hands down, the scene where Kramer walks in on Newman and Kramer's mom making out on. Totally classic.

I like the ep when he was in court for a speeding ticket. Newman says to the judge: " I was in the middle of a game of parcheesi with an old blind man, when I excused my self to call my friend, as he was very depressed lately because he never became a banker" Newman just might be my favorite character. I like how he gets under Jerry's skin. dc

The best Newman moment was hen, after seeing Jerry at Schindler's List, he goes up to the apartment. When the door opens it's Jerry's mum. "HELLooooo, Newman."

I know one!! The one where Newman shimmies into Jerry's apartment (the War episode!!) is the Best Newman Moment. Another one is when Jerry goes into Newman's apartment ("My skin is crawling just being in your little rat's nest").

My vote goes to an earlier one where Newman puts Kramer on the stand to avoid a traffic ticket and drills him as to why he never became a banker.

Totally tense. GREAT!

Truly great; My favorite was just on again (rerun) last week.... Sharing a smoke with Kosmo's mom, Babs, on the street... straight out of film noir.

Best moment was when Newman got caught for traffic, and asked kramer to lie to cover for him. Then Kramer, who got kicked in the head by the crazy guy didn't say as neman told him to say, and newman got in a fight with kramer.
