Season Finale

I found the season finale to be disappointing. It wasn't really all that funny. The best part was Kramer's constapation. Anyone else dissapointed with this episode.

How crushed am I after that subpar Seinfeld season finale.

Don't get me wrong, it was still better than 99% of the shows out there, but after the comedy extravaganza that was last year's finale with Keith Hernandez I am currently in a disappointed state of shock.

Somehow, the show just didn't work like it normally does and things that I thought should have been funny weren't.

Like with the Russell Dalrymple thing - I was watching when he was out inthe boat with Greenpeace and I kept thinking this should be hilarious, but it wasn't and it was kind of like that all through the show.

But i'll give it credit for great cross references at the end with all the people who have been on the show before.

And the studio execs recognizing Kramer from the Calvin Klein adds was hilarious but at the same time his enema wasn't as funny as I thought it would be- and neither was George's lip.

Well, enough bitching for now - I've got to go sell some latex.

A couple observations/questions:

Was the guy with the model Calvin Klein? (My wife thought it was).

Did anyone else notice this mistake(?): Kramer comes through the door, the shortly Elaine buzzes up and Jerry unlocks the door. The door never got locked after Kramer came in.

Also what was floating on the water after the NBC exec, drown?

Kramers fake laughing and "Wet and Wild" comment were great!

Don't forget that crazy Joe Davola was also obsessed with Elaine at one point. He had pictures of her all over his wall, most of which he had taken candidly with a telephoto lens.

What bothered me was that a week was supposed to elapse between the taping and the airing, Kramer couldn't attend the taping because he wanted to be near home base, then we see him during the taping buying the dreaded apparatus then it seems like a week passes before he does the deed.

You indent all the >'d lines. ObSeinfeldPost: What ever happened to Babu Bhatt (one of my favorites)? I know he got deported back to India, but he did vow to save every rhuppi (sp?) and then avenge himself on Jerry - the very bad man. Since the show manages to use previous stuff, is Babu expected to return?

(btw, since the season finale's come and gone, when does 'the season' start again?)
