Larry David Sighting

In the episode, "The Checks", Elaine's boyfriend works for Carl Fardman (sp?), a furniture designer. You can faintly see Carl Fardman in a car. Is Carl Fardman played by Larry David?

I don't think so.  Was it Fardman or Farbman?  I think he also designed
the house in "the Hamptons" but I'm not sure.  Anyway, he does not
appear in the credits and if I remember correctly, the man in Brett's
car had a beard and a wider face than Larry David has.  I'd say there's
a better chance it was Larry Charles (who also played the hairy guy who
stunk up the airplane bathroom before Elaine got there in "The Airport")
but to be honest, it didn't look like either of them.

The designer of the house in Hamptons had the name Mark Farbman, and the furniture designer was Carl Fardman. Isn't this quite a *breathtaking* coincidence? (because there are no *big* coincidences!)

That's right. I remember now. I keep hearing Jerry calling Fardman "Fleckman" in my head. it must have confused me. :)

BTW, Breathtaking = Dr. Ben Feffer. *That* I remembered.

"I'm a Feffer, you're a Feffer, he's a Feffer, she's a Feffer, wouldn't you like to be a Feffer too..."

Am I the only one who thinks of that commercial when that name comes up
in that episode?  And If I'm not mistaken, wasn't it Jason Alexander
dancing around in that very commercial?  Hmmm.
