Well, he was on Dave's World and has done bit parts on Mad About You and a couple of others...I'd watch him!

The Puddy character could easily be expanded to carry it's own show. The sit-com for the millennium! PUDDY!

I have only been watching Seinfeld for the past two years, (and I don't watch Seinfeld repeats in syndication) so I guess I have missed the "classic" Seinfeld episodes of the past. But I have to say the 1/15 "man fur" episode was the best one of this season.
I also agree that Puddy is one of the best supporting characters on Seinfeld, next to Mr Peterman. I thought his part as the car salesman in the last episode was great (since I just bought a new car 6 months ago, new car salespeople really do act like that).
I notice many people on this newsgroup think Puddy should be cut from the show, but there must be something funny about him or he wouldn't be on the show almost every week. Of course, most people feel Seinfeld is crap this year, and Puddy is one of the resons why, but I don't agree.
Perhaps Puddy can join the cast of "Just Shoot Me?"
"Just Shoot Me" has potential of being a replacement for Seinfeld next year at the 9 pm slot. I particularly enjoy the sacastic barbs thrown out by the cast on "Just Shoot Me."
Oh well, just my two cents from a new Seinfeld fan.
I agree! Puddy is sooo funny. If you watch closely in the last episode when Jerry is trying to buy a car, you'll notice Puddy sitting in the background staring into space. Just the sight of him in that fur coat this week cracked me up. I'll miss this show! Dawn Mockler

Well, the team-up of David Spade and David Puddy does raise interesting possibilities. In fact, just thinking about it is funny.
I would rather see Patrick Warburton carry on the Puddy character in his own show, however. There's a lot more possibility there than has been tapped.
