I was just watching a Seinfeld episode ("The Little Kicks") on the FOX channel. There was a line I know used to be there that just disappeared. Jerry was explaining to George that Elaine has made him the "bad boy" and that "Anna digs the bad boy". The line "And Anna digs the bad boy" was gone.

So are they routinely editing episodes now to squeeze in more commercial time?

Yes, we really need a DVD release more and more.

I also wouldn't be surprised if the syndication affiliates are time compressing the episodes as well, speeding them up slightly to fit more commercials in.

All syndicated reruns are about 3 minutes shorter than the original network versions..this has been going on forever.
