Howdy guys,
Might I suggest we go all out on these favourite episode talks and invoke a multi-categoried field of excellence for "Seinfeld"?
I propose we start "The Pezzies", rival to the Emmys and the Oscars. People's Choice, Shmeoples Choice.
As for categories, I would suggest (among others):
o Best Episode o Best Verbal Exchange o Best Kramer "Moment" o Best Georgeism o Best Guest Star Appearance
(There are likely others, but this list is a start).
Each category would have a winner for each of the four years the show has been on. I'd assume we'd vote for the first three years now, then do the fourth year once this season is over, then do it next year for year 5, etc. In fact, I would group years one and two together so that there are a similar number of episodes to choose from, but that's not really important.
With the FAQ and the episode capsules, I myself don't have the time to conduct such a beast (maybe Andy has the time again?), so I can't do it. I'm just hoping someone, either on a.t.s. or "VI" will take the torch and conduct a fair and equitable contest to find this stuff out. I'm really curious.
Or, maybe this is a really terrible idea. Gimme a break-- I'm tired.
