Hello...I'm sure this question has been asked before, but....I was watching the Cadillac (?) tonight, and the scene where the cable guy is chasing Kramer...is that a parody of something?

Not sure, but it looked familiar to me too. I think it just resembles so many similar scenes in action or cop shows.

You have never had to deal with a service call from a Cable TV provider before, have you? Cable TV repair people tend to have a reputation for being late for appointments or not even showing up. What was being parodied is this reputation that the CATV industry has for service calls.
