Didn't Michael Richards, Jason Alexander and Julia-Louis Dreyfuss have their own television shows for a while? All of which bombed miserably.

Actually I heard that JLD's show, Watching Ellie, is coming back in the spring for another run.. but I guess they went back to a 3 or 4 camera setup, not that one camera thing, plus got rid of the "timer".

I would expect, never. He is not interested in more sit-com TV. He obviously does not need the money so he would do it only for creative reasons. And for Jerry, Standup comedy is what he lives for creatively. (See the film The Comedian to understand him).
He could never do a show better than "Seinfeld" and much of that was due to Larry David's creative control. So, on his own he coul dnot do it, and he knows that. That is why he got Larry David involved in the first place.
I don't think we will see a "Jerry" show unless it is a talk show or a
comedy variety type special and even then, not for many years until he
has tired of the standup.
