syndication question

Why do they skip so many episodes in the syndication run? (Im trying to tape all the episodes.) do they hit the ones they missed the next time around or what? are there some episodes they rarely run? Thanks.

I'm not sure where "down here" is, but in the US, it's not "up to the station." Each local station in the syndication network (a phrase I just made up) runs the same episode on the same day (on weekdays...they also run one episode over the weekend). Times vary from market to market, but the episodes are the same.

As to the order of the run, I have no idea. I can say that according to my unscientific tracking, "The Marine Biologist" has not been shown for over a year (May 1999 if memory serves).
