9:00? What to sub for Seinfeld?

I say NBC should show the best episodes of Seinfeld in place of our beloved departing show. They can do that for a year while Jerry develops and produces a new show.

...or finally give Mr. T. the comedy vehicle he deserves! ':)

Why not move Frasier back to Thursday to take over the 9:00 pm time slot?

Frasier has won Emmy's the past four seasons. Seinfeld has one Emmy (I forgot which year-- from season four I believe.)

I think Frasier has the more emmies but Seinfeld has better ratings.

I'd nominate NEWSRADIO for the slot. Of course, I have a selfish motivation -- I love the show -- but I also think it's the natural choice. FRASIER is a totally different kind of show than SEINFELD. It simply doesn't belong on Thursday night. FRASIER and MAD ABOUT YOU fit together well on Tuesday. They set a certain mood and belong together.

On the other hand, NEWSRADIO is a lot like SEINFELD was before it was moved to Thursday and turned into the anchor for the evening. It's a great eccentric ensemble comedy. It's high energy with a healthy sense of the absurd. It fits beautifully between FRIENDS and E/R. If they move JUST SHOOT ME over for the 8:30 slot, leaving VERONICA'S CLOSET where it is, there won't be any hole left in the schedule. It may take a little time to build back up to the kind of strength they have on the evening right now, but NBC doesn't have to worry as long as they build the night, not just plug a hole.

Just my opinion, of course.
