Fans clarify that Elaine's last name is Benes, not Venice as it sounds in early episodes, with one poster recalling a scene where Kramer questions the name.

In the first few episodes it appears as if Elaine's last name is Venice. It sounds like Venice and the subtitles say Venice, too.

Now what's Elaine REAL last name? Please help me out :)
