It is commonly accepted that in playing "6 degrees of Kevin Bacon" JFK should not included because sooooo many stars were in that. And that soooo many of them did not interact in the same scenes. =====================================================================

No, it is that issue that JFK used so many actors in the long epic it makes SDOKB a meaningless trivial game.
Yeah, I am disappointed with the Canadian men's hockey showing. But the Canadian women "killed". Being tied this year with the USA with 18 Olympic medals each is not a bad thing. I am still rooting for Sasha Cohen to win tonight. I saw her skate a couple of years ago and she is perfection on ice when she's good. So, as a Canadian, I respect all great skaters, no matter their flag.

Actually, they stopped that. The new scoring methods are quite subjective. They are marked for what they do on the ice. But I am waiting for full-contact figure skating - now THAT would be a sport. LOL!

Yes they do. And sure it's not a contact sport and sure you can play it with beer in one hand, but that's just one thing I like about that. I like beer :) And the fact that the Canadian Skip is 50 years old just proves that not all sports are for the youngest and the fittest. It's a mind game...

Salming has been my hockey hero since the first Canada Cup games.
Some years ago he walked up to the small passenger boat where I was the captain. 300 passengers, archipelago only. He asked if we had a stop at one particular island where he wanted to go. We didn't really, and he looked quite disappointed when I told him so.
I asked him if it was just him and he said no, he had his parents visiting and other family. I knew it was him and that he is a national hero, and a great guy. So I said no problem, come on, we'll make an exception, a little detour.
When we approached that island other passangers started asking; Where are we? Why are we here? This is not in the time table. Can we get off too? Only when I backed out again I took the microphone and told people that this was a small giving back to a great man, and his folks.
I am so pleased I broke company rules and did what I did!
