Did anyone notice in one of the early syndicated episodes there was a childhood friend played by Kevin Dunn that Jerry didn't like ? This same actoe later showed up as Jerry's accountant who was suspected of using cocaine because of constant allergic sniffing.

I don't remember seeing him in an earlier one. I think, though, that one of Elaine's boyfriend, the writer with the "unique" glasses was also one of the cops that gave Jerry and George a ride in L.A. when Kramer went out there.

I only know of one instance of same actor different character -- Suzanne Snyder was Nazi Girl in "The Limo" and then Poppy's daughter in "The Pie" (she wouldn't eat any of Jerry's pie at Monk's). In fact, it's more common for two actors to play the same character (Morty Seinfeld and George's father come to mind) than vice versa.

The guy who played Jake Jarmel, one of Elaine's former boyfriend, was also one of the cops in the episode titled "The Trip (part 2)". The two cops picked Jerry and George up so they could tell the police that Kramer was not the smog strangler.

The credit seem to indicate that Robert's recollection is correct, giving Kevin Dunn credit for appearing as "Joel" in Male Unbonding, and John Kapelos as "Barry" in The Sniffing Accountant.
To tie up another thread, along the same lines, Suzanne Snyder appeared as Eva in The Limo, as well as Audrey as the girlfriend who would not eat the pie.
