Did Lanie and Jerry Date *In the SHow*?

I read that in the 1st ep, Lanie wasn't there.

SHe debuted in the 2nd ep.

Lanie and Jerry used to date, right? But did they ever dat during the show, or is it always something that has only been referred to?

To my knowledge, it has only been referred to. However, they did try having a sexual relationship while maintaining a platonic status "We can have THIS...and we can have THAT...because THIS is nice, but we don't want to lose THAT..." It was one of those things that wasn't continued in the next show. They also tried having sex when Jerry found out that Elaine had been "faking" the entire time they were dating, but Jerry couldn't "rise" to the occasion. Jerry has also asked Elaine to marry him twice....Once when he was being the emotional Jerry and once when (I think) Elaine was drunk.

There's another time, in the ep. where George's girlfriend had Mono (The Abstinence, 8th season), Elaine stopped having sex w/ her boyfriend, hoping to make him smarter so he could pass the bar. But it made her stupid.

She went over to Jerry's to have some with him..

"ya got 20 minutes?"

"You can just lay there the whole time, watch TV"

Actually, I believe he was going to be a doctor, not a lawyer. So he was not attempting to "pass the bar".

You are right. That was the one I was unsure about. I knew it was one time when Elaine was unable to respond for some reason.
