Does anyone have any thoughts regarding who actually could lay claim to the space in last night's episode "The Parking Space?"
I for one, thought that George was totally in the right. There are certain rules to parking which cannot be broken and one is that if you back in to a spot, it is illegal for someone to try to front park into that spot. Otherwise, you could never pull up past the space to back in. You could never open yourself to that vulnerability!

1. There was so much space that Mike would never have known that George was parking, and not just double parked (in NY? go figure!)
3. Parking head first is completely acceptable, perhaps not normal, but definitely respectable.
4. We know from our special vantage point that George did not start to actually pull into the space until Mike already signaled and began to park. Therefore, whether or not George actually saw the space, George was going to steal it--if he had signalled it would have been different.
