Thread discusses favorite TV shows among newsgroup readers, with varied opinions on sitcoms and animated series like Seinfeld, Frasier, Friends, and South Park.
I assume that most readers of this message will rank Seinfeld as their favorite show, or at least in their top three. I was just curious as to what the ng's readers felt were their other favorite shows.

I totally agree. Granted, it did have it's time in the middle of the barrel, and I know that it's a big college show, however, that crap Terrence and Phillip special, and Cartman's mom being the dad just showed me that there is anything better to do at 10 pm on Wednesday. If you ask me, I think Trey Parker and the other guy (forgot his name) are just laughing at the cardboard cutouts that they pass as a tv show.

Actually, I DON'T know that it's crap. I and many others like the show not to "jump on the bandwagon" but because it's funny. You know what I do when I don't like a show? I don't watch it, I don't talk about it (much less criticize others for liking it), and I don't even think about it. Why does it bother you so much? Think about it and I think it you'll find that it has little to do with the show.

Actually, Carol, now that you mention it, I used to love "Late Night with David Letterman", but I can give or take "The Late Show with David Letterman".

I love the Simpsons. I just don't see the humour in a piece of poo flying all over the place, or someone calling someone else a fat fat fuck or "Cartman's mom is a bitch". Sorry, I hate Southpark.
The Simpsons is quite witty and doesn't use as nearly as much potty humour as Southpark does.
