Lloyd Brawn...?

Hey folks, Just got done watching tonight's syndicated fun and I noticed that the Lloyd Brawn character has two different actors (tonight's with the fat free yogurt and a few weeks ago with the theatre where Elaine loses a button). What give here (did anyone else notice?) They were usually *very* good with actor/character consistency. Any thoughts? -PP

I think they've also been using the guy who does the voice overs for George Steinbrenner in other voices in other earlier episodes. Andrea

I noticed the Lloyd Braun thing too. Wasn't he supposed to have had a nervous breakdown? The original Lloyd would've been too slick looking to portray a mental patient...that's my guess, aside from the fact that the original actor might have been unavailable. But originally, Lloyd was George's old high school classmate. Then, in the episode at the theater (The Gum?), Lloyd appeared to be linked to Kramer. What's up with that?

Maybe the original actor was not available or turned down the part.

Jerry's father and George's father have also been portrayed by different actors, but that was "fixed" in the case of Mr. Costanza.

Yes, Lloyd was one of George's old high school classmates; otherswise, the mechanic's daughter wouldn't have been interested in George's report on Lloyd. Somehow, Kramer hooks up with *everyone*, or at least everyone that Jerry, George, and Elaine know.

Examples: Jerry met Poppy in "The Pie" and later Kramer & Poppy went into business. Kramer & George's dad went into business (The Bro). Kramer and Jerry's dad went into business (The beltless trenchcoat). Kramer and Elaine's boss at Pendant Publishing went into business (coffee table book).

I forget: are Kramer and Lloyd partners in the movie theatre business?

It's quite simple, probably. The original actor probably wanted a lot more money than he previously got, and the producers didn't want to pay him. He may have another job he is busy with, and may have decided it was not worth his while for the small amount of money they wanted to pay him.
