Jerry figures out that Elaine has spent the night with Putty and has rekindled the relationship with Putty when Elaine shows up at Jerry's apartment iwth the same clothes and shoes that she wore the day before, when she and Jerry made the bet about Putty. Wouldn't Elaine bringa change of clothes to Putty's apartment or in the alternative, if she and Putty rendevouzed at Elaine's she would not have to bring a change of clothes. SHe could just wake up in the morning and put on new clothes. Second, since she has a $50 bet with Jerry, she would obviously change her clothes in anticipation of Jerry figuring out she spent the nith with Putty. And wouldn;t she change clothes before going to work at J,Peterman the next day? It was a work night.
