INTERESTING: Final conversation reference

They were talking about George's button and Jerry (I think) said "haven't we had this conversation before?" In the very first episode, the Seinfeld Chronicles, did they open by talking about Georges button? anyone know?

It's not really important _when_ the had first talked about it. The point was that they had already covered that ground sometime in the past. Very analogous to the very reason why the show is no longer. They very much feel like they have done just about everything possible with this group of characters, and most likely a continuation of the series would be repetetive and unsuprising.

It is important....because the very last conversation of the last show was the exact same as the first conversation of the first show.....kind of a full circle thing.........

When they were discussing George's button..... It was the pilot, George was wearing a purple shirt, the 1st scene ever done in the coffee shop. That is when the conversation had been done before.
