did you know that the actress who plays Susan really did die in real life. In fact, as they were filming "The Invitations" (originally which was supposed to end with Susan dumping George after he picks out wedding invitations with 'bad-tasting' adhesive. thatll destroy a relationship)...when the actress DROPPED DEAD during filming, Jerry, always the improv comedian, decided it would be hilarious to keep this in the episode and rewrite the ending. They even had un-aired file footage of her that they decided to use in the end-credits sequence of "The Betrayal" which coincidently tied into that episode perfectly. Amazing, eh?
Her Corpse is now in the Television wing at the Smithsonian along with the body of the guy Wayne Knight accidently killed with a Rickshaw in the taping of "The Bookstore", the guy who was supposed to play Moochie in "The Chicken Roasters" (but died on his way to the studio), and the man sadly killed laughing while they were filming the last scene in that episode where Jerry is doing his bit for a sick friend. Oddly, the show marched on through all of these deaths, and worked them nicely into their respective sub-plots. what a show.
