Did anyone else crack up when Jerry said: "'T (rolling eyes), Columbus. Euro-trash." ??? I DIED at this part! This is the episode about Tropic Of Cancer and the Library Cop named Bookman. I also died when they showed George and Jerry in high school. But I'm a Seinut, so I guess I'd find things like that more funny than just a viewer.

AFAIK, Jerry turned 40 in the past year (in real life), so I'm assuming that's the age of his "character" too.
As an aside, I didn't think Jerry's hairstyle for that period was very accurate. I was only 6 years old then, but I remember high schoolers having either long hair (ie hippy- only 2 years after Woodstock after all) or very short hair in ~1971.. His hairdo looked like something out of the early 80's, the way the sideburns were cut high and hair flipped back over the ears. For that matter, George might've had one of those HUGE "afro" hairdoos as it looked like it was curly (Remember that guy with the huge red afro in "Room 222" ? <G>).

I watched a re-run last night,the episode where Jerry and Elaine became more than just freinds (very early episode).... anyway george said he was 33 years old. If that was in there first season (1990?) that would make him 39 or 40.
