Defintely would be a huge seller.
They should look at like the music industry does- releasing CDs/tapes and going for airplay on radio stations.
And would not harm the syndication value much, if at all- just like Seinfeld broke new ground by going into syndication on a second network, while they were still in production ----the owners of Magnum P.I. would reap a huge rewards if they put it together right and had top notch marketing.
Most importantly the fans would be rewarded.
And I'm new here and just passing by- I hope that Tom Clancy doesn't write anything Magnum- they should use the brilliant writers that did the show (as precision balanced as the tires on a properly kept Ferrari 308)---or leave it where it lies. That certain and perfect dash of humor that so often accompanied the serious plots and action was part of a masterful set of elements completly foreign to techno-geek Clancy. Anything coming from his pen would be a disaster.
