The end scene where they walk to the caddilac is probably a reference to a movie, like many scenes. Does anyone know what it is ?

Nixon was impeached, then he resigned. Being impeached is not the same as being kicked out of office. Bill Clinton was impeached, didn't resign and didn't get kicked out of office.

Nixon wasn't impeached. He resigned to avoid being impeached. In Clinton's case the House voted in favor of impeachment, but the Senate voted against, therefore he remained in office. If the Senate had voted in favor, he would have been out.

The impeachment process is sort of ill defined. The modern recognized practice is that the House impeaches the president and the Senate confirms or rejects the impeachment. Impeachment is now more a scarlet letter of sorts from the house that makes one eligible to be removed from office by the Senate.

I need to buy a copy of the Cadillac episonde does anybody have one?
