ABORTION !!!!

Did any one else ever notice that::: Jerry and George must have girlfriends that they have gotten pregnant, and then had an abortion???? Its gotta be true !!!!! opinions?????

In the episode when Kramer had to switch from jockey's to boxers, he was afraid he was infertile Jerry and George were in the coffee shop talking, and were suprised that Kramer.... "never slipped one past the goalie"... meaning in my humble opinion..that Jerry and George DID slip one past the goalie and that would mean they have gotten their girlfriends pregnant...which leads me to believe that since there is not a little jerry or little george running around..or even mentioned ..that their girlfriends had ABORTIONS.. what do you think? besides calling me an idiot?

Just because they used that turn of phrase does not make it seem like their characters did the same thing. I got the impression from that line that if anyone, Kramer would have done that. ie, "with all the other ill-planned things you've done Kramer, you've never gotten a woman pregnant?" They were not taking him seriously about his wish for fertility, nor should the audience (when has the audience ever been invited to take Kramer's feelings into account?).

Most likely it allowed the writer of that episode to use a funny line to get a laugh. I'd have to see how the scene went, because if you look closely enough, there could have been - plot description - joke - plot description sitting there that needed a laugh to break it up, but still neeeded the plot description to move the scene from Point A to Point B.

There has never been any mention of any of Jerry or George's girlfriends having had an abortion, therefore no girlfriend of Jerry or George has ever had one.
