In support of Puddy

Despite the many critics of Puddy out there, I just want to say he's one of my favorite supporting characters and I always find him very funny. I loved how sure he was that he looked cool in the man fur (until deciding that Jerry looked 'a bit of a dandy'), and the 8-Ball jacket was even better. He's the total opposite of Elaine - unthinking and secure, while she's over-analytical and insecure (think the big head episode), and you've gotta love big, dumb, & sexy. Great voice, too.

I think Puddy is the perfect character to bring up even after you haven't seen him in a while. He's had some great moments. I remember that face painting episode a while ago. Maybe I'm not very thorough when reading these posts, but I haven't seen anything negative about Puddy. In fact, I think he's done a lot to make the past few episodes more entertaining. While I don't think it's fair to say that the show is lousy, I do think it has not been quite up to par. But the mere presence of Patrick Warburton is enough to crack me up.

I totally agree with everyone who adores Puddy. He was not on the show for a while-- after the infamous face-painting episode-- and I always wished they would bring him back. So I don't mind if the new eps are not up to par-- as long as Puddy is on, I'm one happy little camper.

I suggest some network, some program, utilize Puddy somehow. He just has some kind of "presence" that is intriguing. If the vehicle is right, I would watch a show with him in it.

Just voicing my opinion for the program producers, etc. that read this newsgroup...
