Hello, Me and some friends are doing a movie and in one scene I'll be reading a book (I'll do more than just reading, if you must know...). Now, as a Seinfeld fan, I was thinking about letting the book be "Venetian Blinds" - as you all now written by mr. Art Vandelay himself. Since English isn't my mother tongue I have a little problem understanding George's line in "The Red Dot":
"He's an obscure writer. Betnik, on the village."
Could someone please explain this to me (the last sentence, to be more precise)? I'm trying to produce a fake cover and I need some information about this Art Vandelay to produce the little "About the writer"-part at the back of the book. Note that I only want information on the WRITER Art Vandelay, NOT the importer/exporter Art Vandelay or even judge Arthur Vandelay. So, from these two sentences, would it be possible to compile three or four lines about the author of "Venetian Blinds"?
PLUS!: To complete the presentation of the writer, I need a photograph of him. I'd rather not use George (nothing personal), so what I need is a photo of someone who looks like an Art Vandelay...
