Frasier is a totally dfferent dynamic, although it is funny too. Seinfeld is a "cult" show, that just happened to be watched by millions. If anyone thought that DVD would be unprofitable for SEINFELD, they're off their rocker. I don't see how any syndication plans could come into play. Look at X-Files and Sopranos, or really, ANY old Classic.Numerous shows can be taped--some are on 4 to 6 times a day with all the cable. Howvere, we collectors want the episodes in pristine condition on a medium that won't degrade like tape. I have all but 12 Seinfeld episodes on tape, but would still shell out the $$ for DVD.
Well with Digital TV a G4 (with DVD-R), Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro you can build you own Seinfeld DVD library... each DVD-R costs $10. That's what I am doing.
